Types of cargo transported

Türkiye is one of Russia’s main trading partners. The popularity of cargo transportation is due to the presence in Turkey of several free trade zones, where a simplified customs regime operates. According to statistics, in 2011 the mutual trade turnover between Russia and Turkey amounted to about 32 billion US dollars. The following cargoes are mainly delivered: fur and leather products, textile products, products made of precious metals, building materials, household equipment, and chemical industry products.

Delivery schemes

When developing a cargo transportation route, we take into account the volume, weight and nature of the cargo, the required number of transport units, and the carrying capacity of vehicles. Delivery of general cargo.Using road transport, goods are delivered from major cities in Turkey: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Adana, Antalya. Sea cargo transportation is carried out through ports in Ankara, Trabzon, Zonguldag and Istanbul. Cargo is sent by rail from train stations in Istanbul. The largest airports in Turkey are located in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Antalya.

Delivery of groupage cargo.Consolidation of cargo from several customers is carried out at a warehouse in Istanbul. Using the most convenient delivery method, the cargo is sent to a temporary storage warehouse, from where the goods are delivered to the address specified by the recipient.

Delivery terms

Delivery of cargo from Turkey by road takes about 7-10 days, by sea – 15-20 days, by air – 5-7 days. Terms indicated do not include customs clearance. Delivery time depends on how quickly the cargo is assembled, how long the goods are stored in the consolidation warehouse, and how quickly they are prepared for transportation. Before sending the cargo, pay attention to the correct filling out of the accompanying documents, as errors and inaccuracies in the papers can increase the time it takes to clear customs control in Turkey.

Additional services
Assistance with customs clearance.We represent the interests of the customer sending cargo from Turkey to the customs authorities. Our manager will prepare for you a package of documents required when completing a customs declaration. We provide consulting services on the classification of cargo according to the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity, choice of customs regime, customs duty rates, etc.
Certification.A number of goods imported into Russia are subject to mandatory declaration or certification. Vitta-Trans LLC provides assistance in obtaining permits when ordering cargo transportation from Turkey. Our manager will help you in obtaining a GOST R Certificate of Conformity, an Exemption Letter, a Fire Safety Certificate, and a Hygienic Certificate.
Insurance.Our company provides cargo insurance services during its transportation. When concluding a contract for cargo transportation from Turkey, the customer is issued an insurance policy. As a rule, insurance covers all risks of damage, destruction or loss of cargo. The tariff rate is fixed and does not depend on the nature or value of the goods.
Security and escort.The cargo is escorted by employees of professional security companies, who are responsible for the safety of the goods. To ensure the safety of the cargo, they can change the route to avoid possible risks. If necessary, we provide armed escort services.
